Seriously though, I get the "you pre-ordered the game, so you get a little bonus at the start," but giving you all of them is a bit excessive, and I don't think anybody is saying it isn't.

I do own all the DLC, including the cheat pack (Courier's Stash, haha). No, but when I get back to my PC I'll be sure to install it. I skipped Honest Hearts in my recent playthrough so I don't know if that would be something they fixed. Mission Mojave Ultimate Edition is the unofficial "fixes only" patch for New Vegas and all of the DLC. Or maybe I only thought I saw a second guy on that rock. New Vegas doesn't exactly have the Unofficial _ Patch like Skyrim does for the base game and all DLC, which would, if Honest Hearts had it, make that guy "Essential" (and not aggressive to attacks at that point). So either there were two bad guys, and one body went over the edge below (unlikely, based on the angle) or. When I went to loot the bodies, there was only the one body, and the guy came over. There were two guys on that rock after the bridge, and I was sneaking across, and as soon as I hit, I stopped, whipped out Lucky, and shot 'em both down. Is that still true? Because I think I actually did that. The fact that he shows up soon after you got jumped by a bunch of enemies doesn't help matters. It's extremely easy to snipe the first actual NPC you come across who is part of the main story and automatically fail the bulk of the quests for Honest Hearts.

Should I have stuck with the trail guide? Kinda felt like the game led me the way I went, though. Did I hear wrong? Because that's what I did, and I've met the Burned Man. something about going across a bridge right at the beginning, and some people thought it was obvious, and others said you weren't supposed to. I keep hearing both it and Dead Money should be done first, and I've previously started Dead Money, and I know it's kinda rough. The main complaint I have is that only a tiny subset of FO3 mods are supported.

Playing though FO3 with the NV style shooting is enjoyable so far. I'm not sure if that is a problem with Tale of Two Wastelands in general or one of my NV mods causing trouble. Restarting and reloading the last save then allows me to level up without issue. The only problem I've seen come up is it will crash on every odd level after assigning skill points. I merged a clean install of Fallout 3 with a copy of New Vegas with a ton of NV mods. Here's the FAQ from the official site.I just started a new playthrough using Tale of Two Wastelands and their installer worked without needing to fiddle with anything, although it did take a long time to finish. Is it still a lot of work to get up and running? Seems like it would be.
